Archive & Hand Based Design Support
Where original design material is incomplete or fragmentary, Melissa draws on hand based design skills to draw or paint motifs to reconstruct or develop elements prior to colour separation. Starting points have included, fabric, embroideries, weaves, ceramics, papers and 3D objects.
Pre-Production Technical Support
Specialist support during development and pre-production stages, bridging the gap between creative starting points and ideas and production limitations. This work helps to resolve designs potential challenges when printing, reducing revisions and risk once a design enters production.
Studio & Overflow Support
Flexible support embedded within existing studio workflows during peak periods or critical stages of development. Melissa works discreetly and collaboratively, providing positive, reliable design and technical input alongside in-house teams.
